It’s me! Do you remember me? Well, let me introduce myself again! My name is Vanessa and I am the blogger here.  I am sure that you can believe this but I can’t: it’s been more than 3 months since I wrote a post on here! Shame on me! I wish I had some grand excuse but I don’t!   I’ve been extremely active on Instagram this summer and so for those of you who follow me there, we’ve kept in touch.

This is a quick post to say that Matt and I are doing well and that I am ready to blog again. We have done a few projects around here since June and I am eager to share them with you. I hope you stick around for them, though if you did choose to leave me, i’d completely understand.

When I started this post, I thought that i’d share a few personal pictures with you of how our summer went. However, I just went through my phone and realized that I do not have that many pictures to share. I guess I need to take more selfies. But anyway, this summer, I became and American Citizen (I have no pictures of that), had a birthday in July and for a present to husband took me to Ikea (I do have a picture of that), got a new table for the dining room, changed our bedroom, went to the beach, and made lots of homemade ice cream. That’s about it!

How was your summer? I really do want to know! Have a good day friends!

Glad you’re back . I look forward to your blog. I like that you have an older home and are fixing it on a budget! Not everyone can afford a big house and lots of new stuff, me included.I am self supporting and live in a small townhouse.I am very blessed and happy with what I have. I shop Goodwill almost daily and garage sales to furnish and decorate. I like farmhouse cottage with a bit of industrial if that makes sense. Just got back from Charlotte (had to evacuate from storm) and went to IKEA for the fist time, loved it! Thank you for all your great ideas, what a wonderful husband. Love love love your kitchen !
